CD release Nov. 30

8 PM, the Canvas gallery, pay-what-you-want, CDs available for $7.

Rehearsals are going great. It’s a blast to play with the guys again, “the guys” being Simon on bass, Dale on drums, and Darin on guitar.

The songs are taking on new lives with the live arrangement. It’s a lot of fun to hear them with a little breathing space and stripped-down arrangements after getting so used to the CD versions. And for the first time in a long time there will be guitar on some Mike Maas songs! Cue the plagues and rivers of blood. A couple of the synthier songs on the CD are going to be rockier live.

Of course, I write this as though people have heard the CD, which most haven’t, considering I never really promoted it. So I’m looking forward to introducing people to my labors. It should be a good time, hope to see you there.
